Actavis Group Introduces Zolpidem Tartrate ER Tablets

Actavis Group has begun distributing its FDA-approved generic version of Ambien (Sanofi-Aventis), zolpidem tartrate extended-release tablets, 6.25 mg CIV. Zolpidem ER is indicated for treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulties with sleep onset and/or sleep maintenance.
