Continuous glucose monitoring systems offer patients with type 1 or
type 2 diabetes a new avenue to obtain good glycemic control by
providing real-time data on a continual basis.
Although traditionally bone disorders have not been listed as a
complication, growing evidence suggests that patients with diabetes are
at an increased risk of osteoporotic fractures.
