BCG Vaccine Not Found Protective Against COVID-19 Infection, Severity
Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, the suggestion that the bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine might be protective against the novel coronavirus sparked a lot of excitement. Several ecological epidemiological studies appeared to support the hypothesis. Three-Antigen Hepatitis B Vaccine Appears Safe, Effective in Young Adults
Rates of vaccination against hepatitis B, a leading cause of chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma, remain low in adults. In addition, current products have some limitations, including prolonged time to achieve seroprotection, with only 30% to 40% of adults seroprotected after two doses. That's why researchers compared a 3-antigen version against the current single-antigen hepatitis B vaccine.
