A recent study revealed that during the pandemic, older adults with asthma were more prone to experience first-time bouts of depression or episodes of recurrent depression when compared with older adults without asthma. Prior Healthy Lifestyle Habits Protective Against Post-COVID Complications?
Numerous studies have established that post-COVID-19 condition, also referred to as “long-term COVID,” is associated with an extensive range of complications, including chronic fatigue, respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurological, and psychiatric complications. FDA Grants EUA for COVID-19/Influenza/RSV Screening Test
The manufacturer Becton, Dickinson and Company announced that the company received Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA for its novel molecular diagnostic combination test for SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). This test will hopefully combat illnesses in the current and upcoming seasons for respiratory viruses. Read more.
