• 2+ year experience working as a pharmacy technician
• Demonstrated Leadership Experience
• Experience with Med Sync
• Experience with Inventory Management
• Experience working in a compounding pharmacy
• Experience as a compounder

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Lead Technician, you will need to:

• Input prescription orders quickly and accurately
• Obtain patient demographic data (including allergies, complete medication profiles, insurance, and contact information)
• Print labels and fill prescriptions
• Answer customer phone calls
• Answer customer questions when presented at front counter
• Resolve insurance claims issues
• Maintain prescription inventory (cycle counts, dusting, returns, removing expired product)
• Maintain will-call bins: places completed orders onto the shelf, calls patients late to pick up, returns product to inventory as needed
• Fulfill customer service associate role: rings out customers at the register to cover as needed
• Some light cleaning
• Accept verbal refill authorizations of legend drugs
• Assist the Pharmacist in preparing for vaccinations
• Otherwise assists the Pharmacist as needed.

On an as needed basis the Technician:

• receives wholesaler orders
• prepares simple compounds
• prepares home deliveries
• prepares shipments
• assists synchronization technician
• stocks vials, lids and other essential supplies in the pharmacy
