Drug Targets Against Oncogenic Drivers in Lung Cancer
Lung cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in the United States. Approximately 60% of lung adenocarcinomas are associated with driver oncogenes. Among these oncogenes, epidermal growth factor receptor mutations, anaplastic lymphoma kinase rearrangements, and ROS1 proto-ongene rearrangements are found in 15% to 20%, 5% to 7%, and 1% of lung adenocarcinomas, respectively. Developing an Ovarian Cancer Vaccine: Where Are We?
For much of 2020, the focus has been on developing a vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. However, vaccine research extends beyond trying to prevent infectious diseases and is also being studied as a tool in the prevention and management on oncological illnesses.
