NSAIDs Correlate With Better Pain Scores for Postoperative Pain
Researchers recently compared the effectiveness of codeine versus nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents (NSAIDs) for postoperative pain in adults who had outpatient surgery. Results from a study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal indicated that for adult outpatients, NSAIDs were correlated with better pain score and better global assessments. FDA Approves Astepro Allergy Nasal Spray for OTC Use
On June 17, 2021, the FDA approved Astepro Allergy (Azelastine HCI .15%) as an OTC product for the temporary relief of nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing and itchy nose due to hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies. This approval is the first and only steroid-free antihistamine nasal spray available OTC in the United States for adults and children aged 6 years older. Read more.
