ScriptPro's robotics-based Telepharmacy system allows patients to have their prescriptions filled in locations that do not have staff pharmacists. Using ScriptPro technology, pharmacists oversee remote dispensing and manage drug inventories from a main location.

At a satellite pharmacy, patients can submit their prescriptions to pharmacy technicians. Via electronic documentation, patients' prescriptions are reviewed and validated by a pharmacist at a central pharmacy. Live audio, computer, and video facilitate communication between the satellite technician and central pharmacist, allowing the pharmacist to authorize prescription filling and dispensing remotely. To facilitate this process, the technician uses ScriptPro's checkpoints or stations that can be swiveled around for face-to-face counseling through headsets and speakers. Inspection cameras document the dispensed drugs and their prescription labels.

The Telepharmacy network is integrated with ScriptPro equipment, such as SP Central Workflow System, Script Scanner, and SP Automation Center, and allows pharmacists to supervise filling and dispensing processes simultaneously at two or more remote locations.
